Travelling to Marseille

By plane. Marignane airport or Marseille-Provence airport is located 25 minutes far away from Marseille (here the direct link to the english web site). Low cost flights arrive and depart from MP2 airport (2 minutes walk distance from the main airport). A bus, called the navette, leaves from the airport to Marseille every 20 minutes, from 5h10 am to 00h10 am (Marseille to airport: from 4h30 am to 23h30 pm). The bus arrival station in Marseille is located continguosly to St-Charles train station, 2 minutes walk from the site conference.

You also have the option (that we do not necessarily recommend) to travel to Hyères or Nice airports, and grab a train there to Marseilles. You'll need 2h30 to reach Marseilles from Nice by train.

By train. Many "Trains Grand Vitesse" (TGV, high speed trains) connect Marseille to Lyon and Paris, and to the main French and European cities (London, Amsterdam, Bruxelles, Genève, Lausanne,...). You will arrive to Saint-Charles railway station, in the city center and 2 minutes walk from the conference site.
