Here you can find my research topics and interests.

My work over the past four years has focused on linking together sets of documents that are generally textual in nature but may have multimodal components, through quotations, allusions, repetitions, references, common content or hypertext links. I also seek to qualify the links by analyzing the feelings and opinions surrounding these links. I also analyze the oppositions/contradictions that could arise when several people use the same links in different contexts. It involves designing and developing functionalities for content aggregation, document restructuring, content links, document browsing and recommendation systems. The areas of application are scientific articles, books and more recently MOOCS. My work has also focused on the evaluation of interactions and therefore links between people in the context of serious crisis management games.

  Le projet GUIDANCE vise à mener des recherches sur l'accès à l'information numérique assisté par un dialogue général, en particulier sur la manière de permettre aux utilisateurs d'accéder à l'information numérique, dans le but de surmonter plusieurs limitations des LLM actuels. Le budget total est de 755k€ et pour le LIS 175k€.

  The GUIDANCE project aims to conduct research on general dialogue-assisted access to digital information, in particular on how to enable users to access digital information, with the aim of overcoming several limitations of current LLMs. The total budget is €755k and for the LIS €175k.
• Responsable du projet ADNvideo (http://amidex.kalysee.com/) (2014-2016).
  Construction d’empreintes multimodales de vidéos dans le but de réaliser des recommandations de vidéos ou d’extraits de vidéo mais aussi de pouvoir faire du lien entre des vidéos et d’autres contenus. Ce projet est financé par AMIDEX et est réalisé en collaboration avec le LIF et la société Kalyzee.

  Construction of multimodal video fingerprints with the aim of making recommendations for videos or video extracts but also being able to link videos to other content. This project is funded by AMIDEX and is being carried out in collaboration with LIF and the company Kalyzee.

  L'objectif du projet CoPains est de construire des agents artificiels capables d'induire les utilisateurs humains à adopter des comportements sains et, si nécessaire, en les persuadant de changer leurs habitudes dans leur intérêt. Plus précisément, notre domaine d'application est la technologie persuasive dans le domaine de la santé dans laquelle un agent conversationnel incarné (ECA) interagit avec un utilisateur humain de manière multimodale afin de soutenir son activité et de prendre soin d'elle.

• Participation projet A*MIDEX Physocial (2018-2021).
  Le projet PhysSocial propose de développer une approche interdisciplinaire alliant sciences du comportement, neurosciences et sciences computationnelles pour décrire les fondements psychophysiologiques des comportements sociaux humains naturels et utiliser ces connaissances pour mesurer de manière objective les compétences sociales des agents artificiels tels que robots ou assistants virtuels. Cette nouvelle approche expérimentale permet, entre autres résultats, de montrer que l’on n’attribue pas d’intentions à des agents artificiels
  Participation in the A*MIDEX Physocial project (2018-2021).
  The PhysSocial project proposes to develop an interdisciplinary approach combining behavioural sciences, neurosciences and computational sciences to describe the psychophysiological foundations of natural human social behaviour and use this knowledge to objectively measure the social skills of artificial agents such as robots or virtual assistants. One of the results of this new experimental approach is to show that artificial agents do not have intentions.
• Responsable de Work Pakage projet A*MIDEX Appropriation (2018-2019).
  Notre premier objectif consiste à comprendre les mécanismes d’appropriations par accès aux contenus : accès, requêtes et parcours, lecture, téléchargement, qui sont difficiles à interpréter. Nous cherchons aussi à comprendre les formes écrites d’appropriations, que sont les citations dans les revues académiques et dans des contextes considérés comme moins nobles (réseaux sociaux numériques, Wikipédia, etc.), qui sont en fait d’autres usages de citations.
  Work Pakage leader A*MIDEX Appropriation project (2018-2019).
  Our first objective is to understand the mechanisms of appropriation through access to content: access, queries and browsing, reading, downloading, which are difficult to interpret. We also seek to understand written forms of appropriation, which are citations in academic journals and in contexts considered less noble (digital social networks, Wikipedia, etc.), which are in fact other uses of citations.

  Participation à travers l’encadrement d’Anais Ollagnier et d’Amal Htait. L’equipex DILOH est un projet qui a débuté en 2012 et prendra fin en 2020. L’equipex DILOH pour but de construire une bibliothèque internationale pour l’édition en libre accès et les humanités numériques. Au sein de cet equipex, je participe à l’openeditionlab qui est fédère les aspects recherche au sein de cet equipex. Participation in the equipex DILOH (2012-2020).
  Participation through the supervision of Anais Ollagnier and Amal Htait. The equipex DILOH is a project that started in 2012 and will end in 2020. The equipex DILOH aims to build an international library for open access publishing and digital humanities. As part of this equipex, I am taking part in the openeditionlab, which federates the research aspects of the equipex.

  L’institut est pluridisciplinaire et regroupe un panel de chercheurs travaillant sur 5 axes : Neurocomputation and Language Processing, le langage en tant qu'action interactive, pathologie du langage: troubles développementaux et acquis, le langage dans sa matrice cognitive et Brain dynamics of language.
  Member of the ILCB (Institute of Language, Communication and the Brain) (2017-2025).
  The institute is multidisciplinary and brings together a panel of researchers working on 5 axes: Neurocomputation and Language Processing, language as an interactive action, language pathology: developmental and acquired disorders, language in its cognitive matrix and Brain dynamics of language.
• Participation au projet Inter-Textes (2013-2016).
  Le projet Inter-Textes, est un programme de R&D en fouille de texte qui vise à valoriser et à mettre en relation des ensembles de documents par le biais de citations, d’allusion, de reprises, de références ou de liens hypertextes. Il s’agit de concevoir et développer des fonctionnalités d’agrégation de contenus scientifiques, de restructuration des documents, de validation des sources, de cross-linking des contenus et d’un système de recommandation. Ce projet est financé par le programme « Développement de l’économie numérique ». Le projet est réalisé en collaboration du LSIS, Openedition et les sociétés QWAM et demain un autre jour.
  Participation in the Inter-Textes project (2013-2016).
  The Inter-Textes project, is a text mining R&D programme that aims to enhance and link sets of documents through quotations, allusions, repetitions, references or hyperlinks. The aim is to design and develop functions for aggregating scientific content, restructuring documents, validating sources, cross-linking content and a recommendation system. This project is funded by the "Development of the digital economy" programme. The project is being carried out in collaboration with LSIS, Openedition and the companies QWAM and demain un autre jour.
