I am the <a href=\"https:\/\/talep.lis-lab.fr\/\" class=\"ek-link\">TALEP<\/a> team leader (Natural Language Processing research group) at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lis-lab.fr\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Laboratoire d&rsquo;Informatique et Syst\u00e8mes<\/a> (LIS \/ UMR 7020). From 2010 to 2020, I was at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-st-etienne.fr\/fr\/index.html\" class=\"ek-link\">University of Saint-Etienne<\/a> with a similar position. I worked in the <a href=\"https:\/\/laboratoirehubertcurien.univ-st-etienne.fr\/en\/teams\/data-intelligence.html\" class=\"ek-link\">Data Intelligence<\/a> team at the <a href=\"https:\/\/laboratoirehubertcurien.univ-st-etienne.fr\/en\/index.html\" class=\"ek-link\">Hubert Curien Laboratory<\/a>. I received my Research Habilitation (HDR) from the University of Saint-Etienne in November 2020. I am the diputy director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/sciences.univ-amu.fr\/fr\/departements\/informatique-interactions\" class=\"ek-link\">Computer Science and Interactions Departement<\/a> at Aix-Marseille University since May 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">I obtained my European PhD Degree at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urv.cat\/es\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Rovira i Virgili University<\/a> (Spain) in 2006. During my PhD studies, I did several research stays at 4 different universities: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ua.es\/en\/\" class=\"ek-link\">University of Alicante<\/a> (Spain), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/top\/en\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Waseda University<\/a> (Japan), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.umbc.edu\/\" class=\"ek-link\">University of Maryland Baltimore County<\/a> (USA), and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.univ-st-etienne.fr\/fr\/index.html\">University of Saint-Etienne<\/a> (France). My post-doctoral training includes a two-year stay at the Department of Computer Science at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yale.edu\/\" class=\"ek-link\">Yale University<\/a>, where I was supported by a <a href=\"https:\/\/cordis.europa.eu\/en\" class=\"ek-link\">Marie Curie Outgoing International Fellowship<\/a> (OIF) from the European Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My research interests are in the area of Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Language Acquisition and Human-Computer interaction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am an Associate Professor (Ma\u00eetre de Conf\u00e9rences) in Computer Science at Aix-Marseille University since December 2020.
