{"id":97,"date":"2018-07-09T23:00:39","date_gmt":"2018-07-09T23:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pageperso.lis-lab.fr\/cecile.capponi\/?page_id=97"},"modified":"2022-09-28T12:47:28","modified_gmt":"2022-09-28T12:47:28","slug":"activities","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pageperso.lis-lab.fr\/cecile.capponi\/?page_id=97","title":{"rendered":"Main current activities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here are only the activities that I just achieved or\/and currently work on.<\/p>\n<h3>Current and recent activities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Member of the council of the Department of Computer Sciences and Interactions, since 2021.<\/li>\n<li>P.I. of the <a href=\"https:\/\/lives.lif.univ-mrs.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lives<\/a> project about multi-view learning (2016&#8211;2020)<\/li>\n<li>Deputy Director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/labex-archimede.univ-amu.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Archim\u00e8de Institute<\/a>: in charge of the popularization and transfer of researchs in mathematics and computer sciences towards the socio-economics world<\/li>\n<li>Head of the Master of Computer Science at Aix-Marseille <a href=\"https:\/\/formations.univ-amu.fr\/ME5SIN.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Master of Computer Science at Aix-Marseille University<\/a> since sept. 2020.<\/li>\n<li>Co-head of the organization of the famous <a href=\"https:\/\/treize.lis-lab.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Treize Minutes Marseille<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Member and co-head of the <a href=\"https:\/\/qarma.lif.univ-mrs.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Qarma Research Team<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Teacher in several grades (Master, licence) of the <a href=\"https:\/\/informatique-sciences.univ-amu.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dpt. of Computer Sciences and Interactions<\/a> at Aix-Marseille University<\/li>\n<li>Member of the council of the <a href=\"&quot;http:\/\/ed184.lif.univ-mrs.fr\/doku.php&lt;\/a\">Doctoral School of Mathematics and Computer Sciences of Aix-Marseille University<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Current PhD students and new PhD graduates<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Riikka Huusari, co-directed with Hachem Kadri (Qarma Team), from october 2016: kernel based multiview learning. Public defense the 07th of november 2019, Marseille. Now post-doctoral fellow at Aalto University.<\/li>\n<li>Baptiste Bauvin, co-directed with Fran\u00e7ois Laviolette (GRAAL Group), from october 2017: multi-view learning with set-covering machines applied to multi-omics data on diseases.<\/li>\n<li>Quentin Ferr\u00e9, co-directed with Denis Puthier (TAGC), from september 2017: learning interpretable models of CIS-regulation from multi-sources human omics data. Public defense in april 2021. Currently research engineer at Euranova.<\/li>\n<li>L\u00e9o Bouscarrat, co-directed with Carlos Ramisch (LIS) and Antoine Bonnefoy (Euranova), from january 2019 (CIFRE). D<span class=\"background-details\">ecision-making tool for the French defense health monitoring system with natural language processing and machine learning.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Alexandre Bonomo starts his PhD in oct. 2022, on the research theme Multi-view machine learning analysis of intestinal immune response initiation in Peyer\u2019s patches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Open positions and research projects<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Interested by an internship in machine learning ?
